Product Warranty
WARRANTY
- De Chesterfield Sofa House offers a 12 months limited warranty that covers structural manufacturing defect for all our products from the date of delivery, with the exclusion of Clearance and display items. Sofa frame structure is warranted for 3 years against manufacturing defects for product used under proper household conditions. Pinholes on casting legs is a natural element as all casting are hand crafted. After the first year, the guarantee covers defective components but does not cover labour and transport cost.
- Leather and fabric coverings are warranted for one year against colourfastness, where applicable under normal and proper usage and not caused by direct sunlight or in a humid environment. All coverings, including easy clean fabrics are excluded from this warranty if the damage is caused by (but not limited to) stains, wear and tear and scratches.
- Fabric rubs and pilling is not a fabric defect. It is a normal occurrence caused by every day wear and tear, and does not affect the functionality of the fabric.
- If, during the warranty period, a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, De Chesterfield Sofa House will repair or replace part(s), at De Chesterfield Sofa House’s option. This Warranty covers the repair or replacement of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.
- This Warranty is not transferable. If item(s) has been shifted to another address and is not handled by our professional delivery team, the warranty is not covered.
CLAIM PROCEDURE
- If a problem should arise, please contact us at [email protected] with photos, a description of the problem and order number.
- Should the item be deemed to have a manufacturing defect at De Chesterfield Sofa House’s discretion, De Chesterfield Sofa House will offer the following where applicable in this order:
- Repair the defective parts or components.
- 1 to 1 Exchange if beyond repair
- 1 to 1 Exchange with an alternative item, should the product no longer be in production.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS:
- This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) wrong use of cleaning methods or products, burns, cuts, scratches, tears, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.
- Any product modification by consumer or other parties not authorised by De Chesterfield Sofa House will void this limited warranty.
- This warranty does not cover items purchased as ‘Clearance item / Display item’ at the time of purchase.
- De Chesterfield Sofa House’s decision on all issues relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or materials shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at De Chesterfield Sofa House’s sole discretion.
- Any item repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the Limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period only.
- In respect of manufacturing defects detected after warranty period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any) to be covered by the Purchaser.
Payment Method & Payment Policies
- 50% deposit payment upon confirmation on sale order
- 50% final payment before delivery
Delivery Arrangement & Policies
DELIVERY POLICY
Delivery areas:
- Most of the Ipoh areas.
Delivery times:
- Every Monday to Saturday (except for Public Holidays unless otherwise stated)
- From 10.30am – 4.30pm
- De Chesterfield Sofa House’s sale person will contact you and confirm your deliveries with you 1 to 2 days before the delivery
- If no person receive goods when delivery arrived, goods will return to De Chesterfield Sofa House’s store and re-schedule for delivery will be additional charges of RM 150.00 to RM 1,500.00
Delivery charges:
- Within of Ipoh areas — FOC.
- With out of Ipoh areas — RM 500.00 to RM 1,500.00
Self-pick up:
- No delivery charges for customer self-pick up at our showroom or store
- Kindly inform us 3 days before pickup your sofa order through whatapps or call 012 328 1117
- Outside of Ipoh area may arrange your own transportation to pick up your order at our store
Installation fee:
- Installation fee is included (except for services outside our scope – eg. drilling service, built-in service & etc)
- Additional charges applied for service outside our scope, kindly get quotation from our admin for additional service
